Session Fees and Length of Service
Sessions will be fifty five minutes in length, but the initial session will be 110 minutes. Sessions fees will be based on fifty five minutes (except initial session) and based on a sliding fee scale. Payment for counseling services are due at the beginning of each session.
For teletherapy, you can pay directly on the online platform prior to beginning your session. You may pay debit or credit card, which you will set up. If you wish to file a claim with your insurance company, it is your responsibility to contact them and I will provide documentation at your request, which will require a diagnosis that becomes apart of your health record.
If I am able to file claims with your insurance, you will be responsible for your co-pay at each session.
The sliding fee scale is based on U.S.A. poverty guidelines and compares your family size and total income. The breakdown of fees include weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, or annual income; however, you will need to provide proof of income. You will need to provide two pay stubs while setting up services, and then annually thereafter.
For no-show appointments and cancellations made in less than 24 hours, you will be charged for the appointment at full price.
To understand the sliding fee scale, click on the tab below than best reflects how you are paid. In each table, the far left column is the number of people in your household including you. The fees in the top row reflect the amount you will pay per 55 minute session. We are also pleased to offer senior discounts for clients 65 and older for $50 a session.
Example: A single person making less than $21,245 but more than $12,140 per year will pay $55 per session.
