Hope In Healing Family Services, PLLC. Offers counseling services to individuals, children, and families. Through professional counseling services, we may be able to help if you are struggling to find your balance, dealing with a time of transition, or finding your way as a family. At Hope In Healing Family Services, PLLC, we utilize tele-therapy to serve a greater span of individuals and families in North Carolina, including those in rural areas without local services and/or with transportation difficulties.  The counselor can conduct a home visit or arrange an office meeting when necessary, but there are additional fees associated with travel and renting a HIPAA compliant therapeutic office setting.

Counselors & Staff

Megan Jernigan, MS, LPC, NCC Megan has been working with individuals and families for over fifteen years. She has experience working in mental health agencies, school systems, residential facilities, and private practice counseling. Megan graduated with her Master’s of Science in Counselor Education from East Carolina University in 2013. She also has an add-on Autism Certificate that she obtained during this time.

Sheresa Elliot, LCSW LCAS (A) Sheresa is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist (A) who strives to understand how environments impact a person's behaviors and help them to address the emotional challenges and mental barriers. She works with individuals to explore how trauma, life changes, relationships and stressors impact a person's behavior. Sheresa's primary therapy models are:

  • Child Parent Psychotherapy (CPP)
  • Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
Sheresa uses a reflective approach to challenge clients' reflective capacity and ability to explore how experiences shape their perceptions. She also incorporates strengths-based approaches into practice to support individuals in identifying natural supports, unique skills and talents to cope with traumas or concerns in a healthy way.

Loretta Ebsion, LCSW

Loretta has a Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University as well as a Bachelor's Degree in Religion from University of Mount Olive. She is licensed in NC as a Clinical Mental Health Counselor with a certification in Christian Counseling from Liberty University. Loretta also has her LPN certification by the University of New York.

She is also competent in:

Angela Fornville, Speech Therapist Angela Fornville is a speech pathologist who grew up in Zebulon, NC.  She attended Smithfield Selma High School and received a NC Teaching Fellows Scholarship to attend Appalachian State University.  She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Communication Disorders in 1996.   She took a few years off to take care of her precious children Tre’von and Victoria Davenport.  When she moved with her family to TN, she returned to graduate school at TN State University in Nashville, TN.  While working on her master’s degree, she worked for Montgomery County School System as a speech therapist.  She received her Master of Science in Speech and Hearing Science in Dec.  2007.  Since then, Ms. Fornville has worked in various settings such inpatient and outpatient rehab hospitals, public schools, clinics, home health, and prn in skilled nursing facilities.  Ms. Fornville enjoys working with all populations from birth to seniors.  She is currently renewing her certification in autism. Angela lives with her husband Quentin.  They have a blended family of 8 children.  When she moved back to NC, she began raising her niece, Josephine.  She sees her children Tre’, Tori, and Josephine on a regular basis since they have graduated from college and established their adult lives.  She enjoys reading and is starting to explore traveling.
Aly Warren, BSN RN Aly Warren is our Office Manager and will most likely be your first point of contact at Hope In Healing Family Services, PLLC. She has an inviting personality and is always willing to help our clients get comfortable and established with us. She is a Registered Nurse with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing and graduated from East Carolina University in 2012. She is also trained in Crisis Prevention and has a background in Emergency Medicine which gives her experience working directly with the acute side of mental health. She will triage each potential client and match them with the most appropriate therapist for their individual needs.
